The significance of the bar beneath the

wash tub is:

no bar normal (maximum) agitation;

e used in the Cottons program

bar reduced (medium) agitation;

f used in the Permanent Press,

Gentle wash, or Delicates

program.

broken minimal agitation;

bar used in the Woolens program
