With the help of the following notes minor faults in the performance of the
appliance, some of which may result from incorrect operation, can be put right
without contacting the Service Department.

Repair work to electrical appliances should only be carried out by a
suitably qualified person in strict accordance with current local and national
safety regulations. Repairs and other work by unqualified persons could be
dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for unauthorised work.
Check and fault messages
Problem Possible cause Remedy
0-§ appears in
the display.
The Low
temperature
indicator light is
flashing.
The electronic system lock is
activated.
You will need to deactivate
the system lock before the
dryer can be used (see
"Electronic system lock").
The programme
stops and
0 and Finish
appear in the
display.
The buzzer
sounds.
This is not a fault.
The electronic unit has
recognised that there is no
laundry or insufficient laundry
in the drum and cancelled the
programme. Drying individual
garments or items which are
already dry can also cause the
programme to be cancelled.
Use the Warm air
programme for drying
individual items.
Open and shut the door.
The programme
stops.
The buzzer
sounds.
Cooling down or
Finish may also
flash in the
display.
No obvious cause.
Switch the dryer off and
back on again.
Then start the programme
again.
If this problem happens
again, there is a fault.
Contact Miele.
Bars are
flashing at the
end of the
programme:
—œ–...C~–...Cœ˜...
The programme has finished
but the laundry is still being
cooled down.
You can either unload the
drum and leave the laundry
to cool at room temperature
or leave it in the dryer to
continue cooling.
