Top Solo (18)
(for small amounts of crockery)
With this function the majority of the
water is directed only to the top and
middle spray arms in the dishwasher.
This means that the water jets are
aimed only at items in the upper basket
and cutlery tray (where fitted).
This additional function is recom-
mended when there is only a small
amount of crockery and cutlery to
clean which fits into the upper basket
and the cutlery tray.
N. B.:
Lightly soiled plates or serving platters
can still be placed in the bottom basket
if there are large spaces between
them. Do not place dishes or bowls or
other hollow containers in the bottom
basket.
In some instances adjusting the upper
basket to the lowest position can make
it easier to accommodate larger plates
in this basket.
By using the Top Solo function water,
detergent and energy savings are also
made.
For example in the UNIVERSAL PLUS
55° programme only 11 litres of water
are used instead of 17 litres and only
1.0 kWh of electricity instead of 1.2 kWh.
Because smaller amounts of crockery
are being washed the amount of deter-
gent recommended by the manufac-
turer can be reduced. Make sure, how-
ever, when reducing the amount
dispensed that the cleaning result is
not affected.
The Top Solo function can be selected
with all wash programmes.
Choose the programme
The length of the chosen programme
appears in the
time display (17) in
hours and minutes.
Press the “Top Solo” button (18). The
indicator light next to the button il-
luminates.
The programme duration of the se-
lected programme changes, (except
for ENERGY SAVE and PRE-WASH).
Press the “START” -button (18).
The indicator light next to the
“START” button goes out. The pro-
gramme starts.
At the end of the programme the addi-
tional option is automatically cancelled.
