Selecting cookware
67
The cover can only withstand
temperatures up to 230°F (110°C).
Higher temperatures (e.g. those used
for Broil and Convection Bake) can
cause the plastic to distort and fuse
with the food. The cover should only
be used with Microwave (Solo) .
The cover should not form a seal
with the container. If the cover is
used with a container which only has
a narrow diameter, there might not
be enough room for condensation to
escape through the holes in the top.
The cover could get too hot and
could start to melt.
Do not use the cover if:
cooking breaded food,
cooking food which requires a crisp
finish,
cooking food with a Combi mode.
Otherwise pressure can build up,
causing the container to explode,
posing a severe risk of injury.
Do not cook or reheat food or liquids
in sealed containers, jars or bottles.
Otherwise pressure will build up
which can cause the bottle or
container to explode. Risk of injury.
