Automatic Rinsing

To remove any coffee grounds from the system, the water pip

ing must be rinsed through before the first drink of coffee is

prepared. If programme option "Automatic rinsing" is set to

"On", rinsing will start automatically when the appliance is

cold and is switched on. This will pre-heat the system be-

cause hot water is used for the rinse process. A message will

appear in the display. The appliance will also run an automat-

ic rinse before it switches off, if it has been used to prepare a

drink.

To prevent water from running into the drip tray al-

ways place an empty cup under the spouts before

making the first cup of coffee.

Turn the left control dial until you reach the "Settings" menu

option.
